Nuuskakuja construction proceeds

Our new student residential buildings commissioned by KOAS (The Central Finland Student Housing Foundation) have now been granted building permission, and construction in Jyväskylä is due to commence immediately. The three blocks, with loft-inspired student apartments, form an integral part of a larger student housing complex, combining with two similar blocks on a neighbouring plot, already on site. These are commissioned by the student union’s own company, Soihtu, and are also designed by INARO. The whole 5 block complex has been designed as a communal entity, and incorporates common spaces for all occupants to study and engage in group work and recreation, arranged around a shared central atrium.
