Multisensory housing in Jätkäsaari, Helsinki

The design of Samoan Fale in Jätkäsaari, Helsinki is approaching the finish line. The building mass is divided into parts which are connected in the facade by zones of garden rooms. The developer in the project is Rakennusteho Oy. As part of the project, INARO has carried out a study on the possibilities of multisensory and universal design in residential construction, and the results of the study have been taken into account in the design. The study and the resulting design guidelines will be published later this year.
