Vision for Lahti travel centre block

INARO’s reference-plan proposal for the Lahti travel-centre envisages a hybrid block next to the old railway station buildings. The existing milieu provides an inspiration for the forms and materials of the new development, which includes residential, parking, commercial spaces and services. Street level is enlivened by shops, services and pocket parks. The block and new square create a focal point for the area.
