Sport through the seasons

INARO’s feasibility study for Huhtasuo’s new football hall in Jyväskylä examines ways of providing a much-needed facility for the city’s vibrant football culture, and integration with the area’s existing pitches and outlying sports areas.

All the interior activities of the timber-framed hall are visible at street level through the glazed exterior. A buffer zone of unheated periphery spaces allows for flexible internal planning and improves the whole building’s energy efficiency.
