Sääksjärvi general plan completed

The general plan prepared by INARO for the centre of Sääksjärvi in Lempäälä, close to Tampere, is completed. The aim of planning was to identify the identity of the area and create a vision of a denser downtown area. The goal was to strengthen the active village spirit by varying block structure and scale and by improving accessibility to the nearby nature. The plan will bring a train stop, some 1500 new residents and over 20 000 m² of commercial space in the area.
