Green courtyards in Viinikanlahti, Tampere

INARO have produced a landscape scheme to form the basis for more in-depth planning for residential courtyard areas in Tampere’s Viinikanlahti detail plan. Inspiration for the pleasant and variable block courtyards has been sourced through water features, abundant greenery and the contrasting urban environment. Various types of green roofing were also explored in order to achieve the objectives established by the area’s green factor.
