Communal urban sea-front residential

Our community construction project Verkkosaaren Poiju is approaching the planning application phase. The two low-rise townhouse blocks are situated on a sea-front plot around a leafy residents’ communal garden. A co-design stage in collaboration with the residents has generated an abundance of communal spaces which face the surrounding streets and garden at ground floor level, and open out onto spacious roof terraces over the rooftops of neighbouring buildings. Through careful consideration of the use of natural light, open sea views, versatile balconies and terraces, and high class materials and fittings, our objective architecturally and spatially has been to produce living spaces of the highest quality.
